Here’s an excellent opportunity for your kids to expand their creativity AND their understanding of the bigger world around them.
The organization Big Thought will offer a free social learning event on the new Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge. Events include:
- launching a large digital and physical art project that will continue throughout the summer and be photographed from above
- engaging with street performers, musicians and puppeteers
- designing, building and flying kites
In addition, Turn Up will bring to the bridge The GameFame Bus, a multimedia and computer studio on wheels. In it, kids will be able to build digital literacy skills, register for Mayor Mike Rawlings’ City of Learning project and interact directly with the digital badge system.
